St. Clair Shipping Info
When to Place Your Order
Everything we make is hand crafted. To ensure availability, please provide us with enough lead time for all orders.
Normally we require seventy-two hours lead time in advance of the shipping date to process an order. We do try to fill all orders, but we cannot guarantee availability for orders placed for same day shipping.
As we are closed on Saturday and Sunday, orders needed for Monday or Tuesday events must be shipped to arrive on Friday of the previous week. If you need it on a Saturday or Tuesday, Please Call.
To ensure freshness, we try to ship all orders so that they will arrive as close as possible to the date they will be served. You can place your order as far in advance as time allows, and we will ship it at a later date closer to your event. In fact, giving us more lead time ensures availability, as we are sometimes unable to fill last minute orders.
We ship our desserts packed in dry ice in a styrofoam container to arrive within 48 hours. We ship to all parts of the United States via UPS. Shipping and Handling costs will vary per order depending on the shipping weight and destination.
For most shipping destinations within New England, Eastern New York State and eastern PA, we ship via UPS Ground service to arrive the next day.
For shipping destinations outside the New England area, we ship most orders via UPS 2nd Day service. We do not ship 2nd Day orders on Thursday or Friday.
Currently, we only ship within the United States.

Important Information About Dry Ice
St. Clair frozen desserts are packed in dry ice for shipping. Dry ice is extremely cold -109F/-78C and may cause burns. Use kitchen gloves or oven mitts to remove the wrapped bags of ice cream from the dry-ice packaging. Do not handle the dry ice with bare hands. Do not eat ice cream directly from the dry ice. Place the desserts in your freezer immediately. Set the dry ice away from children and pets and allow it to evaporate naturally. Dry ice is non-toxic. Your desserts will not spoil if they come into contact with the dry ice during shipping.

We ship all our products in EPS foam packaging, which is reusable, recyclable and ozone friendly (manufactured without producing CFC’s). You can and should reuse and recycle the foam container.
